Building a Santa Monica where everyone's basic needs are met with dignity, care, and community.
A Santa Monica that builds systems rooted in care: meeting basic needs with dignity, strengthening community bonds, protecting our environment, and ensuring no person or neighborhood is left behind.
✓ Food access for everyone
✓ Housing dignity
✓ Community care systems
✓ Environmental harmony
✓ Humane treatment of animals
✓ Technology that supports life
I've lived the survival stress of homelessness and the long path of recovery. I've learned firsthand what it means when systems are built on scarcity instead of care—how loneliness multiplies suffering, how shame replaces dignity. But I've also experienced the healing power of community, the resilience in human connection, and what becomes possible when people are met with compassion instead of judgment.
I'm running because I want to build a Santa Monica where fewer people have to survive the way I did. Where everyone belongs. Where our systems are designed to meet needs, reduce suffering, and lift people up with their dignity intact. That's what a caring city looks like.
Ensuring safe, affordable housing and stable foundations for all.
Growing food security and community connection through local gardens.
Accessible support systems for healing and long-term recovery.
Protecting our natural environment and building a sustainable city.
Compassionate treatment and care for all animals in our community.
Building stronger bonds and deeper belonging across Santa Monica.
As I walk through Santa Monica and listen to residents, clear themes emerge. This is what people are telling me matters.
"People are exhausted from the cost of living."
"Many residents feel disconnected from community."
"Families want safer, greener public spaces."
"People want leadership that actually listens."
